2015 Toyota RAV4 Review #256

Hello forumites. I decided to write my review about this car, namely the miracle of the Japanese car industry. Before him, he owned a Volkswagen Golf Plus, so there is something to compare, and do not say that I am a German breeder. So the question of buying a car arose unexpectedly in February by itself. And it was decided to take the SUV, the snow in the yards began to be cleaned worse, and you can go fishing with mushrooms more boldly. Initially, I was looking for a Tiguan and for some reason I wanted a diesel, I didn’t consider Toyota at all, because I rode a 2-liter CVT machine for a test drive and I didn’t like it at all, purely in terms of acoustics and panels. Well, it is noisy, especially at the rear, and the variator did not want to take it because of the restrictions on towing a trailer, and it is undesirable to overheat it. After the diesel scandal, the Germans stopped selling cars in Russia since the new year. But if desired, it was possible to find diesel cars in some car dealerships. And I found them and booked them, although 2500-3000 km are far from my house. Well, here it began, reading all the reviews about the engine, how it behaves in our climate, how it starts in winter, etc. Well, in short, having read it, I went nuts to take a German diesel, and a familiar STO-shnik says that 50,000-70,000 km. you will ride without problems, and then you will be tormented. And somehow by chance on the drive I came across a review of a diesel equal to 4. I must say right away that I read a lot of information and reviews about the Tiguan, but about a maximum of 10 about Toyota. By typing in the search engine on the drome for availability in car dealerships, I found the Elegance equipment in Moscow and Novosibirsk. I conferred with my wife, and she squeaks from me from equal 4, it was decided to take it in Novosibirsk. And so the plane tickets were bought, the fellow traveler found the car booked, we fly to pick it up. What I have: car 1676000 + 90000 dopa + 35000 winter tires + tickets = 1800 plus. Advantages over the German, more spacious, more trunk, a heater installed at the factory, diode headlights, glass heating, and that's all, and then one negative will go. When driving a car from Novosibirsk to Surgut, two small pebbles flew into the windshield, and the glass was half covered with a crack. I have caught so many stones on golf for 8 years and not small ones, the glass has withstood and still not a single chip. At a speed of 90, the hood starts to play in the wind, I'm shocked, what is it made of foil? There is no sound insulation, the panel is miserable, and what designer sculpted it, tear off his hands. The buttons are hidden under the panel shelf, until you find the right one, it won't take long to get into an accident. The power window buttons are generally a masterpiece of Japanese greed, only one driver's one has an automatic mode, and it's hard to understand how it works, and the buttons are not backlit. The panel is hard, and if you knock on it with your fist, you might think that you are in a Lades-sedan, it rattles. The seat heating has two positions, strong and weak, I had five of them in a German. If you take the outer door handle and pull it back sharply, you can hear the sound of an empty bucket. Consumption is a separate issue, on the highway if you go up to 100, then 7l comes out. In the city 12-14l. I hoped that the diesel will eat less. I did not immediately pay attention to the steering wheel hub, euphoria interfered, when driving in a straight line, the hub is crooked, the case is not guaranteed, the collapse of the convergence is at the expense of the owner. Recently jackie chan caught fire, two km. turned it off, turned it on and it's gone. Plans to make soundproofing doors, trunk, maybe even the whole installation of the tow bar. Well, that's all while the mileage is small and the review is not big. Although I am a former German toyotovod, I will not, in three years I will sell it and buy a German. I don’t know why Toyota drivers are tearing their throats for the Japanese? Quality, so there is none. My brother-in-law drove a Corolla, now he bought a Tiguan, he says that the German is more thoughtful, I offered him to change, he says no, I don’t want to change to Toyota. I apologize for the mistakes, I write on the phone, and he corrects the words as he pleases. Photos will be later when I get home from vacation.

Well actually passed 32 000 km. roads. The roads are different, from steppe federal roads smooth as a table to mountainous clearings. You can now write a review about my 2015 RAV4 (dorestyle). I will write a review in blocks. Then I'll add another thousand in 30 more. I will grumble a little, but at the same time I promise absolute impartiality to my own car.

2015 Toyota RAV4 Review #252

So TO-20 passed in the second year of marriage. What can I tell you: I was in a hurry to take the car before the restyling, because I have been living for a long time and I know that restyling is a price increase, often unreasonable. So, in principle, it turned out. I bought my diesel engine with automatic transmission "Rafika" in the configuration "Comfort +" for 1,370,000 rubles. Approximately in the same variation, restyling pulled about 1,800,000 plus the absence of a diesel option. And I was not ready to overpay almost half a lemon for new headlights-lanterns-kuchkunishtyakov of dubious usefulness, neither then nor now. Anyway. Now about the actual car. Although there is not much to write about. For 25 thousand km. the car did not cause any inconvenience. Generally. And even the stories of experienced people about the “thumping” of the rear suspension arms on the roads for some reason raise doubts. Nothing "thumps". For some reason. Consumption on the highway is 6 liters in the summer at speeds up to 118, in the city in winter in the cold it is not off the beaten track at shops with the engine heater turned on - 11.5. In the summer in the city - 8.5l. Quite cute. When buying in the cabin, they installed an alarm, engine protection, hood gas stops, rubber floor mats, front and rear foglight rims, window and hood deflectors, a standard engine heater was supplemented with a control unit and now it also works as a boiler heater. A 12v socket was installed. in the trunk, otherwise the plant in this regard was screwed up. Crossbars are installed on railings. That's like all. To say that the machine happy, then to say nothing. With the exception of the somewhat controversial front fascia design, the car is a delight.

2015 Toyota RAV4 Review #211

I bought a new Toyota Rav 4 2015 Japanese assembly. For two years I thought that there was no better car until a strange flaw was discovered during maintenance. On a run of 20,000 km, with pad wear of 40%, disc wear turned out to be 60%. Raised the results of the past so. - similarly (20% to 30%). All native, driving style neat. Official service. Here's a Toyota. Wrote a complaint to the dealer. Let's see what they answer. Heard about such problems only at the VAZ.
