2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #272

Good day dear readers of my next review. I have been driving on the right steering wheel since 2003, before that I have been driving different models of the Russian car industry for 14 years - from eared to five VAZ. In 2003 he moved to the right hand drive - the first car was Toyota Spasio 2000 (spacious, reliable and just wonderful). In 2007, I wrote my first review about it. His current heir in the family since 2008 is the 2004 Toyota Picnic (Ipsum version with 2.0L). This review is already the seventh in terms of the number of our family cars.

Before choosing a car, I read auto review magazines, a horn where they compared SRV, Rav, Vitara, and Nissan Htrail with each other. And since there was no test drive, it turns out that the correspondents chose the car for me.

2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #243

When buying a car, when I studied the reviews, unfortunately I did not find a sensible review, which some time later prompted me to write my review, without snot and praising my car, and state my paradigm and accumulated life experience, I will try to do it in the form of reflection. I promise to try not to bore you with technical details, which the vast majority of people still do not understand. I hope when you read this story, the Japanese cranky engineers will hiccup and burn their ears, and if you're lucky, maybe even some stupid engineer will choke on a roll. For you, the reader, I hope this story will be a useful storehouse of knowledge, and my spent 3 hours will not be wasted :)))

2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #178

I drove this car from September 2017 to March 2018. I bought it because I had previously driven a 2009 Toyota Camry XV45. She was very low. Possibly due to low profile tires and flat springs. Wanted something sublime hahahaha. To be honest, I'm tired of worrying about those bumps and bumps on our very imperfect roads. By the way, he is from the city of Semey (formerly Semipalatinsk). I live in Astana. Roads between Astana and Semey are only being made. Laying the motorway. Accordingly, a large section of the road has been dug up, all in detours. Until you get there, either gray hair will appear in your temples, or your heart will seize. You go to your parents: with one hand you hold on to the steering wheel, with the other hand you wipe your tears from the state of the roads and the suspension being killed. It was a pity for the car. After the Camry on Rafik, sitting very high, you can easily do curb parkour. Those. they propped you up from behind, and you took it and drove along the curbs in front and, as it never happened, it was also good to disperse in narrow city courtyards, jumping onto the curb at any moment. At first, I really liked the car. Liked its spaciousness. He owned an American assembly with a Long body. By bundling is not very rich, but the previous owner (handsome) installed heated seats, for which he has a separate respect. But then the comparison began. If you compare Camry and Rav, then the latter has a very stiff suspension. Running into serious bumps, one gets the feeling that a sledgehammer was given to the brains. It gives out very loudly, despite the fact that I had an ideal running gear. Rafik was looking for a very long time. All the variants of which I considered were either broken, killed, or a barn, which nothing can save. Bought in Karaganda, a guy named Ivan. Bought not cheap, but it was worth the money. To my surprise, but the ten-year-old car was all in native paint. Yes, of course there were flaws in the bumpers, a couple of shallow scratches on the body, but these are all trifles. The interior of the car is very roomy, if you expand the rear seats, you can easily use it to transport large items (I myself moved to rented apartments twice, though I had to make several flights to transport my not very large belongings ... but I didn’t spend money on cargo). Salon in the native configuration on a rag, that is, velor, but the previous owner dressed the car in eco-leather. Again, respect to you Vanya! For a short period of ownership, I wound about 15 thousand km. Often wound on the highway for long distances. During all this time I changed only two racks.

2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #91

I am writing this review after selling Raphael after 8 years of our life together). Before that was Alex and Civic. I wrote a review about Alex - it's like first love, I still only remember good things, the Civic did not take root somehow. When there was a question of purchase, they were looking only for RAV4. Why? Yes, because I wanted exactly him, in general, I think when you buy a car for more than three kopecks, it should be first of all to the soul, and then everything else. So...

2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #30

Good day, friends. I am writing a review for the first time and most likely this is a request for help. Maybe someone has already experienced this. About a year ago, I began to feel that the car began to drive much less kilometers from refueling to refueling and the consumption on the on-board computer increased. I came to a familiar master, he says that gasoline has risen in price, do not worry your brains. I think okay, I'll go to another service. I arrived, drove it to the diagnostics - the guys cleaned the throttle valve for me, the DMRV sensor, replaced the candles, replaced the injectors (outdated theirs) and sentenced me to change the first lambda probe. Consumption at that time was 14 in the city in the summer (I don’t stand in traffic jams, the city is small). This autumn, the consumption reached 20 in the city and now in winter with warm-ups it reaches 25, if a mixed city / highway, then 18 somewhere. Tired actually on a full tank to drive 200 km. I ordered the first Denso lambda probe, it cost me 7500 + 600 replacement. Consumption has not changed a single gram. And the car still remained worse undermined than it was a year ago. I really don’t know what I need to change in it so that everything goes back to normal. In the summer I rode a Lexus RX with a 3.5 engine for several days. With my driving style, I had about 13 liters of fuel in the city. Somehow I can’t believe that a two-liter rafik can eat more than this elephant ..

2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #642

Dear Sirs! Hello! I have good news, I hasten to share with you. In the last review, I said a lot of negative things about the third generation RAV4 (I leave all my comments to myself and do not refuse them), but I will still be fair. After replacing the rack, there are no complaints about the steering, with the rigidity of the rear suspension at the Toyota center (on the ear so that no one hears) it was recommended to lower the wheels from 2.2 atm. up to 1.8 atm. and pump nitrogen. And you know, the car began to behave completely differently, suspension breakdowns disappeared, it behaves more confidently in corners). And one more thing, cars come to Russia on Bridgestone and Yakohama tires. I have a bridgestone stomt. Ran the other day on a test drive car that has Yakohama tires on it, it's a completely different car, much softer.

2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #561

To begin with, once sitting on a Toyota fell in love with this brand. About Rafa honestly did not dream of initially long thought chose and chose the new Avensis. I phoned a dealer in Krasnoyarsk and he told me about almost the same prices for these 2 models. thinking and conferring with his wife decided to take the RAV (the reasons were as follows: large, tall, albeit parquet but the jeep and the interior is laid out conveniently to travel). I was pleasantly surprised when, having taken out a loan in my city, I came to Krasnoyarsk for a car: the dealer met me with a smile and said that my car had fallen in price by as much as 100 thousand due to the fact that customs passed on December 27, well, the year they say was 2007, and it was in the yard February 9, 2008. It took me only 15 minutes to complete the paperwork, and then they said that in addition to the action, I don’t know what kind of buyer there, and they gave me 2 packages of souvenirs and a winter Hakka 5 as a gift (approx. balloon then they cost 9 thousand). Generally satisfied and happy, I went home. maps were printed in advance with a double gis for leaving the Territory. The road was not easy, to be honest, I have never traveled to those parts, and the service limit for the first thousand runs of 80 km per hour killed me a lot. It took 17 hours to get to my hometown and this was without actual stops. A traffic cop got to the bottom of Kansk, but quickly let go.

2007 Toyota RAV4 Review #643

Hello. I want to share my impressions of the new RAV4 III. Although this car "Rafik" does not dare to call the language. It has practically nothing in common with the Toyota RAV4, except for the name. This is a completely different car - a station wagon with the ability to briefly connect all-wheel drive, and not an SUV.
